More on multicultural Vancouver

Another multicultural data point from Vancouver: in addition to the throat slashings and whatnot among schoolchildren we’ve already commented on they’ve got the worst outbreak of syphilis in the developed world. The combination of immigration and casual sex, notably among homosexuals, has driven the incidence of syphilis up about 200-fold in the past 5 years. The result isn’t especially surprising. An unsettled and antisocial way of life makes for bad health, and multiculturalism is an organized effort to disrupt social habits of the kind people naturally form to order their lives together. Google returns 22,600 hits for “Vancouver multiculturalism,” almost all favorable and many corresponding to well-funded efforts to suppress opposition to the phenomenon. There’s good reason for opposition, so I’m sure the efforts will coninue.
