Human ID chips

We knew it was coming, but it’s not pleasant when it happens: “First Humans to Receive ID Chips”. Brave New World meets Big Brother!

Still, the question is whether technology only provides solutions to particular issues or whether it can control the overall system of human life. My guess is the former. The more you try to control life, after a point that’s soon reached, the less it functions as it should and the harder it gets to achieve your goals. That’s fundamental principle, the Taoists noticed it 2500 years ago, and I don’t see why it should change. One gets nervous nonetheless …

  1. Chips will not be accepted
Chips will not be accepted ever i think. The Christians wont allow it as its too simliar to that relevations stuff.
Cant wait till genetic engineering is brought about. Then the real fun will start, I wonder will the Liberals oppose it or welcome it. I like the idea anyway, it will undermine multiculturalism.

  2. Christians dont overrule
Christians dont overrule everyone. I think chips might be a good idea, but only if its voulintary. We identify our animals using the micro-chip.

  3. The problem with technology
The problem with technology is that it is supposed to serve us, but like wealth, we end up serving it.

Regardless of its positive aspects, I will never give in to the chip, my rednecked Albertan ignorance will blind me to its benefits, and the only way it will enter my body is when that body is cold and dead!

  4. As a christian I see this
As a christian I see this chip to be part of Revelations in the Bible. I dont agree to this chip by no means. It will violate not only my religious beliefs but also my privacy. Don’t be fooled by the words of the world. They will make this sound good as can be, and assure you that it will only be used for good intent. But God’s Word is true, ” . . . and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

    — Revelation 13:15-17

The Bible has be proven again and again. Words that was written a thousand years ago, may also now stand true. Maybe we are in the end times, I dont know, nor does anyone else. But I do believe in the Word of God, and believe this to will come to pass.
